Security has gotten nit-picky. Small tubes of tooth paste, deodorant, etc. are necessary every day items and should not be bothered. Airlines continue to raise fees for services. Many are now charging for excess baggage, meals, curbside baggage checks, and better seats. Unfortunately this is a trend that is likely to continue as the airlines struggle to stay in business. Below is a Mad TV spoof about the topic:
