Recently, I was on a flight from Salt Lake City to Atlanta. It was an overcrowded flight with too much luggage. No one seems to want to pay the check luggage fee of only $15.00 so boarding was a nightmare. Anyway, we got in the air and the flight attendant had just made the announcement that acceptable electronics are okay to turn back on. The lady next to me took off her shoes. Her feet were beyond anything horrible that I have smelt and I have teenage boys. I kindly asked her to put them back on. She refused. I let her settle in to her book. For my revenge. I suddenly had to use the restroom every 15 minutes the whole flight. I waited to return back to my window seat until she had just settled into her book again. Needless to say, I am sure she did not enjoy her 4 hour flight. Maybe now she keeps her shoes on!

More likely is that both you and she continue to be unpleasant people.

Just a hint… always carry a tiny bottle of lotion in your favorite scent. If you find yourself in the situation again, just apply some of the lotion to your upper lip. This helps to offset the unpleasant odor.
