Passenger Upset That FA Wouldn’t Fix TV

in Attendant & Pilot Stories

We’re on a trip on JetBlue from Orlando to New York. The flight was normal until 3/4 into the flight. As you might know, JetBlue has the free in-flight entertainment system. That is when my TV was encountering problems. We called over one of the flight attendants, but he couldn’t come because the pilot was using the bathroom, and he was guarding him. Fair enough.

Well, when the pilot went back to the cockpit, the flight attendant still refused to come. So, we called over the other one and he took care of the problem. I am writing this not to say anything bad about JetBlue (my favorite airline), but to tell that every airline has a couple of rude flight attendents.

Seriously? This is your flight from hell? Your TV goes out for a few minutes and you're complaining about a flight attendant that was guarding the cockpit door while the captain used the restroom?

Boofreakinghoo! That is not a flight from hell, but just a minor inconvenience.

Flying Jet Blue in itself is a flight from hell.

No way! Just flew to and from upstate New York with JetBlue. FA gave me a free beer, a few bags of cookies, a couple of sodas…and the TV was great because it's Shark Week! CHOMP CHOMP

While this isn't a flight from hell, I think the op is right that all airlines have bad flight attendants. And no, I have read worse (flight of filth, fear, and humiliation), that was a LIE.

I would love to read the scathing story that the OP would write if his flight was delayed 30 minutes…
