I was flying home from a relaxing vacation in Lakeland Florida and of course our flight flew from Orlando…. home of Disney World. As my luck would be, the flight was full and who would sit beside me a lady who gets very sick on planes. As the plane took off her appearance started to get whiter. Now, her entire family was on the flight and they had enjoyed 7 days at Disney World! All the sudden she starts throwing up and continued to throw up for 2 hours…. including wetting herself with every heave. Her family wouldn’t even look at her for help. When she left the plane they had to carry her out of the plane. Of course, her family was following behind her with eyes down.
Of all the years of flying I had never had a seat partner as nasty as this one… portly people can sit near me… keep the motion sickness people away from me!

@Momof2- I have flown numerous times and never had and issue with motion sickness. Then one day, out of the blue, I got on a plane and got soo sick. It was horribly unexpected. Thankfully it was a short flight, and kept from being sick till we landed. I've never been sick on flights after that. I now know it can happen to anyone with no prior incident in the past.
I feel bad for the lady. She must have been so embarrassed, and miserable.
Gee, why not have a little compassion?. The poor woman was not doing this on purpose and if her family was so lame as to ignore her you could have at least been understanding.
The idea of walking a mile in her shoes seems to work here
So do the ideas of depends and dramamine! If you know you react like that, you should seek medical attention so that you miniminze it as best you can (if nothing else, but for your own sake!)
I think that if you no that you are going to be that sick when you fly, then you should find some other way of traveling.
I highly doubt she knew she she would be that sick.
Yeah, I guess I'll just swim across the Pacific Ocean to go visit my family, then… 😛

Therefore, I stand by my response. Also, if this was such an isolated incident, I'm pretty sure her family would have been more concerned.
Why do people leave the house when they can't handle these types of situations? They make medication for this type of thing, you know. It's 2010.
