I was flying from Las Vegas to Oakland on a late morning flight. My 3 year old son was flying with me and I was 2 months pregnant and was experiencing extreme morning sickness. My son sat down next to the window and I sat in the center seat. A large man sat next to me in the aisle seat and fell asleep immediately. About two minutes after takeoff, while the plane was still ascending, the man let loose a vomit explosion that covered me, the man himself, and the woman across the aisle in vomit. There was a moderate amount of turbulence, so the pilot could not turn off the fasten seat belt sign and we were all forced to just sit there covered in vomit. I was so disgusted and furious that I couldn’t even look at the man.

This is not how I thought this story was going to turn out when I first started reading. I'm currently 4 months pregnant, and I can assure you I would have started vomiting, too.
Surely a FFH, but with the build up….you know, the pregnant woman with morning sickness…. I expected more vomiting. 🙂
I would have made sure to induce vomit all over the man to return the favor. People know when they're going to puke….why do they choose to wait until the last moment when its too late?? ew!!
I'd like to hear what this mans reaction was after he threw up all over you.

Seat belt sign or no, I would have been in the lavatory in a heartbeat cleaning up.
why didn't you do anything? like for example, take his carry on into the lavatory and drop a load in it?
