I was on my way to a meeting in Malta flying BA business from Toronto to Heathrow and on a connecting flight on Air Malta. The AM flight left on time and I was looking forward to catching up on some sleep, this time in economy. The flight was full and shortly after takeoff I had a rude welcome from the three 10-14 year olds in the row behind making lots of shrill noise without stopping to catch their breath, or so it seemed. Then there was the incessant kicking on the back of my seat…
A few dirty looks didn’t seem to faze these kids and the truth was revealed when a parent came from behind the business class partition to see how they were getting along.
Being a parent and having done the same thing myself for reasons of economy, I decided that with a meal being served they would quiet down and hopefully that would be the end of it.
However, as soon as their trays were removed things got way out of hand. I stood up, turned around and said, “now I know why your parents won’t sit with you, SHUTUP and don’t kick my seat again.”
Silence suddenly came over the section I was sitting in and several passengers gave a short clap. Didn’t hear or feel anything from those kids for the rest of the flight.
Not the end of the story. A fellow passenger in my seat row recognized me when checking into my hotel and took me out to supper and a full two island tour the next day which I had free as it was the National holiday anyway.

WIN!
Good for you! Kids should be forced to sit next to their parents and get on their nerves the entire flights.
Put brats in the back behind a sealed wall.
If they won't shut up, give them a shot of johnny walker black and a valium
Love, the Logger
I've done basically the same thing to people on city buses complaining about traffic and not being able to get off in between stops. And these were adults. People will act like assholes until someone calls them on it.
Good for you
Yes! Hell fucking yes!
