Bare Feet Between Seats

in Odor Stories

I was on a flight from Europe to North America many years ago and this man decided to take his shoes off which was OK because he was seated behind me. But then he went to the bathroom with no shoes on and on his return decided to stick his feet in the space between seats beside my arm. Gross! So I am stuck on this long flight with dirty, disgusting and stinky bare feet beside me with nowhere to go! People please keep your feet on the ground and keep your shoes on!

He certainly had no right to do that & you should have told him so. Next time tell the jerk to get their feet down or call a flight attendant. Or, perhaps, "accidently" poke the offending feet with something sharp like a pencil or pen.

Did you ask him to put his feet down?

how do you know he went to the bathroom? was the lav in front of you?

i know on many international flights people just walk around to the back of the plane just to stretch their legs

heck i did that often on flights from nyc to singapore (20hours in the air) and i would walk around just in socks on my feet

bathroom of coarse id have my shoes on thats just a must have no matter what bathroom you go to

I think feet are gross. And, I think most feet smell….especially after travelling. I think polite people, will keep their shoes on, not wear flip-flops, etc…when travelling on planes. Really..I do not want to see your dirty feet….but, more importantly, I do not want to smell them either.

the fetishist in me wishes i'd been in your shoes (pardon the pun) and that the stank-foot man had been a nice latina. 🙂

Nasty! I've had that happen several time. I prefer the passive-aggressive approach, I always stab their feet with something or sneeze wetly on their feet (only when traveling with my husband though, I wouldn't blow my snot on a complete stranger. Well, I guess I WOULD, but just their nasty feet)

I once 'accidentally' brought my elbow down hard on a person's foot that was migrating into my row between the seats. Solved the problem.
