My husband and I were on a flight from Atlanta to D.C. to visit his mother for Thanksgiving. Of course the flight was totally packed. My husband and I always get the aisle and the window seats. He sits at the aisle and I sit by the window. Don’t get me wrong; we like each […]

I was flying Southwest, where there are no reserved seats. There was a group of three adult women who were all friends. Note that they were not disabled or with special needs, just friends flying to the same destination together. In addition, this was a full flight (143 seats, 143 passengers).

So I was flying Southwest Airlines to Boston from Phoenix.  I couldn’t sleep the night before, so I looked forward to a pillow and being curled up against a window. I got my “A” boarding pass (lucky) and sat in my window seat.

On my return flight home from DFW to SEA on American Airlines, I ended up upgrading my middle seat to an exit row for $75. I’m a tall guy at 6’2, 200lbs, and could really use the extra leg room on the four hour flight. After settling in before takeoff and falling asleep, someone bumped […]

I was flying alone from Orlando back home to Phoenix. I got my window seat that I paid extra for (or should I say my company paid extra for) and sat down. A few minutes later, some girl about 14 comes up and is the most polite thing ever. She asks to switch seats so […]

After a 3 hour drive to the Seattle Airport, waiting in a long line, we were greeted by a wonderful host. Being very hesitant, because we had never flown this airline before, I thought these are wonderful people who work here. Boy was I ever disappointed!!!!!

This is about the only time I ever flew Saudi Arabian Airlines which was in December 2013. Due to the holiday season, I had no option but to fly with them. Afterwards I decided never to fly with them in the future. The overall attitude of Saudia staff was bossy.

I was travelling from Melbourne to Athens via Dubai last December. I hadn’t flown in quite a few years, and my return to the aviation world was less than impressive. From the start I could tell it was going to be fun. I was seated in the middle seat in the centre row (a.k.a prime […]
