Saliva-Laden Peanuts Passed out to Passengers

May 29, 2012

in Attendant & Pilot Stories

Vomit on the back of the seat (1B)… Do you people take any pride in what you do? From my seat (2B) I could see L., our flight attendant in first class, having a gab session while the first class customers were thirsty. The attendants ate, drank and then took care of us…

And I have video of these uncaring slobs sticking their fingers into a big tin of warm peanuts (meant for first class guests) over and over again, then offering the saliva-laden peanuts to us in first class… NO CLASS American Airlines. What slobs.

And we are told people on flights get sick because of the recirculated air conditioning. BS – it’s because the flight attendants are without care and passing on germs to us. How Gross!!!

I suspect an agenda here.

Are unpackaged peanuts actually passed out on planes?

I'd be surprised if they were, given the commonality of peanut allergies these days. I don't fly American, but on other airlines I know they will have 'peanut free' flights where they don't even serve peanuts at all due to allergies, so I'd be surprised if some flights were handing them out in big exposed tins.

You poor, poor yuppie. Having to deal with the common plebes while flying. Who would've thought the servant class might need to eat just like you real people. And to have to eat the same food…

BTW, I call BS on your whole story. You were served unpackaged peanuts? Really? And there was vomit just lying around on the back of a seat? And the person assigned there sucked it up and sat down without a fuss? Nonsense. Nothing about this story rings true.

In first class the peanuts or I should say mixed nuts are served on a tray and are not packaged for you.

Nice try, troll. You still haven't addressed half of my points. Attacking me and ignoring the content of my post proves nothing. There's BS here, but it's not coming from me.

Yep they heat them up in a "Big Tin"……..sober up pal. What is this big tin peanut heater ? a Folgers can ? Do the FA's take turns holding a torch under it ? I don't know about you but I have heard of this new fangled contraption called a "microwave oven".

In most global airlines, peanuts or mix nuts are served in a cup or a plate in first class and business class cabins.

Newer aircrafts now have cctvs fitted in all galleys, so if you ever see such a behavior of the crews, you can make a complain as ask for the recording to be reviewed to support your claims.

Cheers
