i remember in the summer i was flying business class on singapore airlines from london to singapore

there was this man whose seat was next to mine and his wife was supposed to be sitting in economy, but was sat in my seat

so i asked her if she could show me her ticket to see if i could sit in her seat so she could be with her husband, but when i saw that she was in the wrong class i asked for my seat and she was going on about how she deserves to be in business, it was a crime that they didnt upgrade her, she belongs there, how she has class...........so in the end she huffed back and said that i am so mean and why i couldnt sit in her seat so she could be with her husband........well i paid for my seat so imma use my seat thank you very much

If you're going to ask someone to trade seats, it is generally the rule that you offer the more desirable seat, not the one 10 seats back or a center seat.
