Idiot...you actually PUSHED the mom? If you would have pushed me, I'd have pushed you back..hard. You are lucky you didn't get charged with assault!!

Sorry, if you choose to ride the Greyhound in the sky (in coach..I don't think kids should be in first/business classes), you don't get to choose who to fly with. If you don't like it, start your own airline that offers baby-free flights.

pre-kids, I never cared about kids near me when I flew. I did, however, hate being seated next to smelly or obese people, but I didn't have a choice, did I? neither do you.

we are flying in 2 weeks to England to see grandparents who are too old/sick to fly here. Yes, we are bringing our toddlers and will do our best to stop the crying, if there is any. But sometimes you just can't control kids at that age.

These blowhards, early in life, have doubtless puked, burped or shat on someone...it's only because they can't remember what they did at that age that they can pontificate.

I TOTALLY agree with the original author about screaming babies. I would pay an extra fee to have a flight that doesn't allow children!! We should at least have that option... Or perhaps a 'cry room' would help

"We adults are no different than babies!"

I agree. Babies whine on planes. Passengers whine about the babies whining and their parents. Parents whine about the passengers. Geez.

Sometimes parents suck, sometimes the kid cannot be consoled. Enough of these "I'm the victim because of a screaming child" stories. They're kids! Bring ear plugs or headphones! You'd be amazed at how much you don't hear!

Not all kids are horrible on flights! My daughter took her first flight at 2 months old, and then again at 19 months. The first flight on the way to Las Vegas, she never cried once! On the way back she only started to cry after the plane had already landed! The second flight this past December, she cried just before landing, but on the way back she didn't cry at all. She is a very well behaved child. Just because some parents can't control their kids, doesn't mean that ALL kids are spoiled rotten brats. If you don't like having kids on your flight, why don't YOU drive to where ever the F*** you want to go!

Hey Jimmy, dumbass, honey? If you had just acknowledged this:
"Bottom line…I have flown many times with good, well-behaved kids. The parents were attentive and sometimes stern. You could tell they were good, involved parents…. and, I do not mind flying with those kids or those parents…and, for those I am sympathetic when the kids get fussy and tired…because they have tried."
Instead of making your obnoxious blanket statement in the first place in response to mine, we wouldn't have had this exchange.

Oh, and Jimmy? I do my job, and do it well. Why don't you find one, too?

RJ,

You get paid to take care of the kid...so, even more your responsibility...not mine...dumbass.

If I have to put up with their screaming and crying on the plane...because you do not know how to do your job...then you should give me part of your salary, for enduring what should be yours to endure.

Obviously, if the parents have hired a nanny...they don't even want to be around their kids or take a hand in raising them....and, then the flying public are subjected to their "little darlings". Pathetic.

but, there have been times when kids on flights were absolute brats, and the parents did not make any effort to parent. And, to that extent...those people should not fly....again, they chose to have the children...they should raise them...or pay you to raise them...and, not expect the world to accomodate their choices.

Hey dumbass? I don't have kids. I'm a nanny. Who the hell are YOU to dictate anything to anyone? You should be concentrating on pulling your big oversized head out of your big oversized ass.

You come near any kid I take care of and you'll be in traction.
